At the onset of the season we established two goals that that we would judge ourselves on: 1) to get better everyday 2) to give ourself a chance to win at the end of every game. With a 12-13 record, many would see the season as a disappointment. But those that followed this team closely saw how hard these young men competed. Of their 13 losses, 9 were by 5 points or less. Winning is important, but it is not the only defining characteristic of a team. Most teams are defined by their record, this team is defined on their determination and progress. This season created a solid foundation to build upon a bright future them in the Highlander Basketball program.
